Researchers

There are three central themes to my scholarship. My first line of research investigates the relationship between governmental revenue structures and substance use service funding and health outcomes, with a focus on revenues derived from fines, fees, and law enforcement activities. Second, I study the availability of evidence-based behavioral health services nationwide, and policy and organizational-level factors which facilitate improved access to these services. Finally, I evaluate the distribution and impact of funds from the national opioid settlement agreements.
