My goal is to develop and utilize tools for rodent behavior analysis, and apply these tools to better characterize rodent models of mental health disorders. Additionally, with my collaborators I seek to more strongly integrate behavior analysis with neuroscience research to better understand the link between brain and behavior. My specific interests are in rodent models of reward learning and behavioral addictions, AD/HD, and autism, and how these disorders manifest through aberrant cortico-basal ganglia circuits.
