My research investigates the shared and distinct etiologies of complex symptoms (i.e., fatigue and depression) by identifying mechanistic pathways that can be used as therapeutic targets (e.g., glutamatergic receptor signaling). I have utilized NMDA receptor antagonist (i.e., sub-anesthetic dose of ketamine) to induce rapid anti-fatigue effects in non-depressed patients with chronic fatigue.
