My background is in mathematical statistics, and my current research is mainly concentrated on large-scale genetic studies of alcohol use disorders and related outcomes. I have played a leadership role in genetic analyses on several nationwide and worldwide genetic projects. I am involved in all stages of data analyses including methodological studies, data cleaning, data imputation and statistical genetic analyses. I have extensive experience in working with big databases and running genome-wide association studies, using a variety of programs. Gene-environment interaction problems, multiple testing problems, non-parametric testing and estimation of power are some of the problems I am working on.
