I am a physician-scientist, and my clinical work and research is focused at the intersection of substance use disorders and infectious diseases. My research focuses on 1) the implementation of integrated care models for HIV and substance use disorders to improve health outcomes, 2) evaluating long-acting therapeutics for HIV and opioid use disorder, and 3) increasing the inclusion and participation of racial/ethnic minorities in clinical trials research.
