Dr. Miles is an Instructor at the Institute for Health’s Center for Health Services Research and the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. Using primary survey and qualitative data in combination with population-level administrative and health care claims data, her research aims to build a reliable evidence base on effective strategies for increasing equitable uptake of evidence-based practices for people with a substance use disorder. Her work has been funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences, the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, The Pew Charitable Trusts, and the Preparedness and Treatment Equity Coalition.
