RSVP – A Book Event and Panel on Harm Reduction in Action.

You are invited to join a presentation and discussion regarding harm reduction programs for people with addictions, and it will feature my long-time colleague Pat Roos, who will be discussing her book, Surviving Alex: A Mother’s Story of Love, Loss, and Addiction, recently published by Rutgers University Press.  The event is being co-sponsored with the office of the Dean of the Social and Behavioral Sciences and the School of Arts and Sciences.  We hope to attract a large crowd from a variety of disciplines, as well as people with both professional and personal interest in this most serious topic.  Pat is a dear friend, and she was a cherished colleague through my first two decades at Rutgers.
