Call for Proposal 2024 Opioid Summit – Submission Deadline: May 1, 2024

 The New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) is holding its fifth annual Opioid Summit to address the stigma and misinformation surrounding Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and to enhance the understanding of harm reduction, prevention, treatment and recovery options. The event will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 through a virtual platform. DMHAS will collaborate among state departments, community partners, harm reduction, prevention, treatment and recovery support providers, as well as other healthcare professionals to ensure a diverse and successful event. The Opioid Summit will feature local and national experts and voices who will contribute in sharing innovative strategies to address the current crisis.

Call for Proposal The Summit aims to provide various stakeholders the opportunity to participate in panels and breakout sessions that assist individuals with navigating addiction and recovery pathways. DMHAS is seeking proposals from clinicians, peers, recovery specialists, medical professionals, criminal justice professionals, researchers and other stakeholders who have experience in opioid use disorder subject matter to share innovative approaches to harm reduction, prevention, treatment, the recovery process, stigma and integrative care coordination. We invite all interested individuals to submit a proposal.
