NIH Grants Process Primer: Application to Award

November 13 @ 1:00 pm - November 14 @ 4:00 pm

Free

Navigating the National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants process can be overwhelming for those new to working with NIH. This past spring, the NIH Office of Extramural Research (OER) and the Center for Scientific Review (CSR) partnered to present a 1-hour webinar, A Walk-Through of the NIH Grants Process.

OER and CSR are again combining efforts for an expanded, two-part, interactive virtual event – NIH Grants Process Primer: Application to Award – taking place on November 13-14, 2024 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET (see this promotional video).

Understanding NIH’s overall structure and the foundation of the agency’s grants process is vital to successfully applying for NIH funding. To help you on this journey, the NIH invites you to participate in a two-part webinar designed to help inform and clarify important elements from application preparation to award. Register once and gain access to Part One and Part Two.

November 13, 2024 / 1:00 – 4:00 P.M. Eastern Time Zone
Part One: An Overview NIH experts will provide an overview of pre-award activities and resources – from planning your application through the review process to award determination.

November 14, 2024 / 1:00 – 4:00 P.M. Eastern Time Zone
Part Two: An Interactive Experience Engaging activities and demonstrations will offer participants further insight into systems and resources utilized in the pre-award process.

Throughout both days, NIH experts will be available to address questions submitted during registration to help smooth the path toward a successful NIH application process.
