The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) will release their consensus report, Cannabis Policy Impacts Public Health and Health Equity, on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM ET. As states continue to legalize cannabis and related products, this report will evaluate the public health implications of these policy changes. The committee will assess U.S. cannabis availability, examine regulatory frameworks through a health equity lens, and offer recommendations to guide policy research over the next five years.
