SUMMARY:RARC Translational Impact Workgroup Meeting - Examples of Impact Scholarship in Addiction Research
DESCRIPTION:Please join our next meeting of the Translational Impact Workgroup. Dr. Jamey Lister\, the Workgroup Lead and Associate Professor in the School of Social Work\, will give a talk overviewing examples of impact science from his addiction research projects. These will include: (1) dissemination and partnership strategies used with community and governmental organizations addressing opioid use disorder for rural New Jerseyeans\, (2) data-driven implementation planning products that leveraged patient data about substance use obtained from a large academic health care facility partner in Union County (NJ)\, and a (3) study targeting implications for drug policymakers that convened a panel of national addiction experts to rank drugs by their harms using Multi-Criterion Decision Analysis (MCDA) methodology.
