SUMMARY:4th Annual Community Youth Mental Health Summit: Developing Solutions Through Partnership!
DESCRIPTION:For those who have not attended the summit in the past\, this event is different from typical conferences. The majority of the day is spent engaging in activities with other attendees to share information\, resources\, and form new partnerships. Last year we had over 160 unique organizations attend\, ranging from parents and youth\, to schools\, to community- based mental health agencies\, to hospital leaders\, to state agencies and foundations. The goal of the summit is to increase community connections\, so that families and youth can receive comprehensive and holistic mental health and wellness services. The Summit doesn’t just bring people together; it provides funding opportunities to encourage attendees to form partnerships across organizations. Summit attendees will again be eligible for partnership grants designed to foster new collaborations within communities. This past year\, we were able to fund seven\, $5\,000 projects proposed by summit attendees. Registration for the summit and resource tables is on a first come first serve basis. In prior years there was a waitlist. \nWHY ATTEND?\n– Free lunch\n– Spread the word about your organization at the resource fair\n– Summit attendees are eligible for grant funding\n– Form new community partnerships to strengthen your organization
