DESCRIPTION:This Professional Development webinar will focus on strategies for effectively framing grant proposals and navigating the grant-writing process. \nLearning Outcomes:  \n\nIdentifying potential grant opportunities.\nWriting strong grant applications.\nNavigating the grant application process.\nManaging grants.\n\nSpeakers:  \nJared Medina is an associate professor at Emory University. He is a cognitive neuroscientist who studies tactile psychophysics\, neural plasticity\, qualia\, embodiment\, sense of self\, and cognition and perception in people who have experienced strokes. He has won 10 grants including grants from the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health. Psyche Loui is an associate professor at Northeastern University. She is a cognitive neuroscientist who studies the networks of brain structure that enable musical processes such as auditory and multisensory perception and learning and memory of sound structure. She has won 21 grants including grants from the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health.  \n
