SUMMARY:10th Annual New York City Epidemiology Forum: A New Decade of NYCEF: New Tools and Partnerships for New Challenges
DESCRIPTION:The event will be co-hosted by NYU Grossman School of Medicine and NYU School of Global Public Health. The conference includes oral presentations\, posters\, and discussion sessions and is expected to lead to new collaborative activities\, such as networks with shared resources and joint educational programs. \nFor the past 10 years\, NYCEF has provided a vibrant forum for regular contact and exchanges between epidemiologists working in academic and other institutions in the New York City metropolitan area\, with a special focus on junior researchers\, including junior faculty\, postdocs\, fellows\, and students. NYCEF fosters increased awareness about research conducted across institutions. It provides opportunities for researchers to present their work\, with the overall goals of promoting bilateral or multisite collaborative projects and enhancing career opportunities for junior investigators. For questions and inquiries\, please contact the 2024 event coordinator\, Rebecca Gevertz\, at Rebecca.Gevertz@NYULangone.org. \nPlease register before Monday\, March 25\, 2024. Attendance is free and includes lunch. We welcome all staff\, students\, and faculty of participating New York City institutions. \nFor more information\, click here. \nLocation: Murphy Auditorium\, NYU Langone Health\, 550 First Avenue\, New York\, NY 10016
