oin us for the next RARC Psychiatric and Behavioral Genetics Working Group featuring Dr. Emma Johnson, Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine. Her research leverages large-scale, genome-wide data to examine genetic and environmental contributions to substance use behaviors and other behavioral and psychiatric phenotypes. Much of her work has focused on characterizing the relationship between cannabis use and schizophrenia, with additional research examining chronic pain, substance use, aging, lifespan, and gene-environment interactions.
